The shifter and pedals work as intended within all games I tried (BeamNG Drive, Assetto Corsa, Need for Speed: Underground). I did end up figuring it out and I suppose I post my fix for anyone else having this issue and reading this. If the receiver is Unifying, identified by this logo, open Unifying Software and check if the device is found there. The Realtek HD Audio Manager program pops up and the headset itself works fine however.

While playing, I noticed that the wheel "locks" (slightly catches and does not register any more input with further rotation) at 90 degrees, when it should lock at 270. Logitech Gaming Software doesn't recognize headset. Device manager > View > Show Hidden Devices > Sound, Video, and Game controllers > Uninstall Logitech g633 Headset driver (the label was grayed out, and said the device wasnt plugged in, which it was) > Restart computer.
I am using a Logitech G25 steering wheel with the original shifter and pedals.
